Specialty cinema city is made up of cinemas of different sizes, usually located in one building. Cinema is where movies are played for audiences. Movies were played in cafes, teahouses etc. in the beginning. Along its development, cinemas were built just for playing motion pictures. From silent to audible, B&W to colors, normal screen to wide screen to even curve, surrounding screen , this has brought tremendous change in size, dimensions, ratio and acoustic technology. Cinema must meet the technological requirements of movie projection, to achieve visual and audio effects. Nowadays movie has become a popular subject among general population. 

The auditory condition of the auditorium depends not only on the electroacoustic quality of the sound return system, but also on the architectural acoustics quality of the auditorium. The auditorium has its own acoustic characteristics, which are different from other performance buildings:

The location of sound source is fixed. Cinema speakers are usually located behind the screen or on side walls, so the sound source position is fixed.

1.Sound source is relatively high. The loudspeaker is generally located at 2/3 of the screen height, which conduct to sound energy evenly to all directions of the auditorium and the rear seat.

2.The volume can be adjusted as needed. The power of the return sound system is unrestricted in principle, so the direct sound can be the main sound, and it is not necessary to rely too much on the reflected sound to compensate for the insufficient volume.

3.Cinema sound is required to conform to the acoustic frequency response characteristics, in order to restore the sound on the film recording devices.

4.First trend of development of cinema is more attentive to social beneficial effects; second is that cinemas will be more standardized; third is that the layout will be more balance; lastly, forms of cinema will be more diversified.
